LILEKS (James) The Bleat
James Lileks is from Minnesota, and is one of the very best writers on the web. He writes an online, personal column called "The Bleat" Monday through Friday. He's almost always worth reading. His is one of several great sites that are linked to on the right hand side of this here weblog.
He also wrote a pretty funny novel that takes place in Minneapolis called Falling Up the Stairs that is well worth checking out of the library.l

I sent out invitations for Larry, Connie and Eric to join in. I figure once we debug it, we may want to invite Leslie and Family and Betsy's family in. The idea is to share interesting things, ideas, wants, needs, or a great link on the web. There are a few examples of this below.
You can follow a link to see an Island Packet 370 for instance. Once you get the hang of it it's kinda fun.
You can post what you really want for Christmas like a car, or a trip or even some of these.
Anyway, I hope this might be something people like to use. Especially with Christmas coming up. Too many ideas fly around and are forgotten about. Here is a tool to share some of them.
